These hand hammered 7 bowl practitioner sets are created by a 3rd generation master teacher in Kathmandu, master Shree, who conducts bowl practitioner trainings at his healing center. Master Shree hand selects the bowls in each set which can take some time to make the most harmonious set of bowls.

About Nesting Sets, Tunings, Bowl Sizes & Bowl Care
NESTING SETS Our 7 Bowl Practitioner Sets are fully nesting, which means all bowls fit inside each other in one group, which makes them very easy to store if needed. They are heavy bowls though, so we do recommend breaking up the nest into at least two groups when transporting to events so they are a manageable weight.
TUNINGS All bowls in the practitioner sets are 'hand hammered' and each highly unique in sound once they are finished, and unlike cast bowls, there is no goal in making them to achieve 'concert pitch' but instead, after they are made they can be matched in relative pitch to any other bowls they are being combined with. By making sure the bowls are all harmonious to each other, the most benefit can be derived from them as a set.
BOWL SIZES Each set is slightly unique in terms of individual bowl diameter, but generally the bowl sizes range anywhere from 8" diameter for smallest bowl in the set up to 12.5" diameter for the largest bowl in the set. As the practitioner bowl sets are fully nesting, each bowl is progressively larger or smaller to all fit together neatly as one set.
BOWL CARE Himalayan style metal bowls are very easy to care for and quite hardy. They might be scratched lightly over time with use, but you can preserve the finish of the bowls by using soft cloth between each stacked bowl in transport. An easy and affordable carrying solution might be some heavy duty tote bags into which you place your smaller nesting groups with cloths between each bowl to prevent them from clanging around on the way to your destination. You can also get yourself padded bowl carriers if you want, or a rolling caddy.
